ok so i am marrying into a BIG TIME ny yankee's family, which is great because the texas rangers, well, are the texas rangers....and while i always want them to do well, if you follow the rangers to any degree you know what always happens....they can be hothothot until the all-star break and then sucksucksuck. sometimes they aren't even good up to them...but i digress...
so it is cool to now get to root for a, um REAL baseball team this time, one steeped in tradition. and while i am sad i never made it to the old yankee stadium, i am excited to check out the new one. and yeah, the food ain't cheap but it nyc, what were you expecting? (if you want cheap food, go see the mets)
my fiancee's fam always goes to yankee spring training, but greggo didn't go this year because of our impending wedding...but next year, i am so there (JE-TER! JE-TER!)
and maybe a-rod will have another hangnail so i won't have to watch that roidboy in action...
who am i kidding, they are all roidboys. it's the NEW ERA IN BASEBALL!!!!
